Job Overview:

A top tier global consultancy renowned for their expertise within the legal technology market is looking for an eDiscovery consultant to become incorporated into their Frankfurt office. Candidates must have experience across all phases of the EDRM and will have responsibility for client delivery of projects. Responsibilities include providing clients with the combination of Relativity and technology consulting and services. This is a multi-faceted position as the selected candidate will additionally work very closely with the sales team. Candidates must speak English and German fluently.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to ensure requests and expectations are met.
  • Perform on-site data collections, data processing, and analysis daily.
  • Liaise with internal personnel to manage the delivery of client demands.
  • Ensure that all client deadlines are met, which may include working outside of business hours if necessary.
  • Comfortable travelling to enable effective case management.

Requirements:

  • Possess a degree in technology related field, i.e. Computer Science, Computer Forensics.
  • Prior experience operating within an eDiscovery or technology focused role.
  • In-depth working knowledge of Relativity
  • Previous experience managing teams, preferably within an eDiscovery environment.
  • Prior experience using alternative industry software such as Concordance, Nuix, DocuMatrix or Ringtail is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to perform in client facing role.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst managing multiple tasks.

Independent Attorney

A prestigious law firm is seeking an independent attorney to become incorporated into their Brussels office. The independent staff attorney assists the Firm’s senior attorneys, senior staff attorneys, associates and partners in the management of document review, analysis and production for the Firm’s litigation, antitrust, and securities enforcement practice areas. Candidates must be able to speak English and one other European language fluently and must also be admitted to the bar.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in on-site client interviews
  • Coordinate and organise data collection efforts
  • Assists the Firm’s partners and associates in responding to interrogatories
  • Conducts research into the industry that is the subject of the document request or other topics as required
  • Collaborates with senior attorney, other staff attorneys and litigation technologists in developing plans and procedures for document review and production
  • Assists in overall case management
  • Works with and, where appropriate, trains paralegals and temporary attorneys
  • Reviews documents for responsiveness to document requests
  • Assists the Firm in other matters not related to document production if and when needed

Requirements:

  • University degree from an ABA accredited law school or European equivalent
  • US and/or European bar admission
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional European language
  • Prior experience in an eDiscovery practice of a major law firm involved in US complex, multi-party litigation, Second Requests or EU Merger Investigations
  • Flexibility to work outside of regular office hours on occasion to meet the needs of the cases

eDisclosure Manager / Case Manager

An international law firm is seeking for a Senior Project Manager to become incorporated into their London team. Responsibilities will include supporting the EMEA region and providing a high level of client services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in litigation projects and cases, providing technical support using litigation support tools.
  • Support and manage all levels of document management, create databases, imaging, electronic data processing, and document production.
  • Manage the full eDiscovery life cycle.
  • Liaise with eDiscovery / eDisclosure teams on projects when necessary.
  • Liaise with external service providers when necessary.
  • Import & export electronic data using a variety of applications.
  • Perform quality control to ensure error-free work.
  • Stay current on changes and trends within the industry, whilst making recommendations for new applications to suit the changing needs of the firm.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years’ experience within either a law firm or eDiscovery consultancy.
  • University degree in relevant subject field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Ringtail, Relativity or other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects whilst maintaining high quality.
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team.

Job Overview:

An esteemed Law Firm is seeking for an eDiscovery Manager to become incorporated into their extensive eDiscovery team. The eDiscovery team is responsible for overlooking client data management products and services. The Manager will be expected to advise and assist with identification, preservation, collection and processing of data. Additionally they will be required to manage the data during the analysis, production, review and presentation phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all client needs are met by identifying and understanding what they require. Work alongside Executives and Analysts to provide an effective solution and recommend suitable technical solutions.
  • Work directly with clients to ensure the highest level of client service.
  • Develop Project Management plans for all cases. Ensure that all Management plans include: Evidence tracking, resource management, cost proposals, risk management, risk mitigations and status reporting.
  • Ensure the integrity of client / firm data is maintained, including evidence handling, processing and data tracking.
  • Liaise with other Managers within other offices to ensure that correct solutions and processes are being implemented.
  • Supervise other tasks which have been delegated to appropriate team members.
  • Take lead on individual cases whilst reporting to Senior Managers regularly.
  • Managers will be expected to possess a strong understanding of Document Review software / platforms. If any problems arise the Manager must collaboratively work with the Senior Manager to resolve any issues.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduated (2:1 minimum) or equivalent with a minimum of 3 A Levels.
  • 5+ years within an eDiscovery or technical capacity.
  • Technically proficient using software such as: Recommind’s Axcelerate or kCura’s Relativity
  • Technically proficient using MS Windows & MS Office Applications
  • Exceptional understanding of the legal framework of eDiscovery, protocols, practices and legal standards.
  • Financial Management skills are desirable.
  • Experience working within an eDiscovery consultancy is also beneficial.
