The Project Manager role is responsible for high level management, delegation, and execution of day to day e-discovery project tasks. The role involves concurrently managing multiple projects of varying complexity.

The incumbent will collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, IT personnel, and other members of the counsel and/or client legal team to ensure the successful completion of e-discovery matters.

Senior Project Managers must also mentor, train and delegate to an assigned team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing end-to-end oversight of discovery matters & serving as primary client point of contact
  • Providing expertise & consultative advice on matters such as data collections, processing, and review
  • Creating and maintaining project schedules, defining activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration etc
  • Developing and managing relationships with internal teams
  • Defining, communicating, implementing and monitoring quality standards on all project deliverables
  • Planning and managing internal and external project communications
  • Serving as expert on the Company’s review platforms and proprietary offerings
  • Forecasting, tracking and managing project budgets and invoices
  • Successfully overseeing multiple, concurrent projects
  • Developing strong client relationships through collaborative, consultative service

 Requirements and Competencies:

  • Educated to a degree level or minimum 3-5 years in the litigation support / legal industry
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Relativity
  • Willingness to travel when required (domestically and internationally)
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent projects involving cross-functional teams within budgetary and schedule constraints
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and maintain client satisfaction
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate client needs
  • Strong teamwork, communication (written and oral), client management, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project teams, including teams of supporting project managers
  • Experience with or understanding of handling forensic collections is a plus

Application Support Engineer

Application Support Engineer – London – Circa £45,000

Overview:

A top tier eDiscovery vendor is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their London team. Responsibilities will include supporting systems using industry software such as Relativity, LAW PreDiscovery, and IPRO. The Support Engineer will work closely between both the IT and operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all databases support Relativity run optimally
  • Operate as escalation point for the support of database containing large volumes of data across multiple data centers
  • Identify trends and create analysis reports for management teams
  • Identify areas of improvement across the Relativity and LAW PreDiscovery systems
  • Enhance the eDiscovery software using SQL scripts
  • Create and maintain SQL scripts to perform data manipulation operations
  • Operate as subject matter expert and collaborate with internal and external teams
  • Perform system maintenance and upgrades

Requirements:

  • 2 years’+ experience using SQL with strong knowledge of scripting with T-SQL
  • Strong experience troubleshooting and resolving uses between the SQL server and front end applications

  • Prior experience using alternative scripting languages such as C#

Primary responsibilities include working closely with the eDisclosure Manager to ensure completion of queries and technology related queries. Alternative responsibilities include engaging within legal teams / clients and acting as primary contact for ensure completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle multiple queries with varying requirements.
  • Acting as primary liaison for legal teams and clients.
  • Providing support regarding technical queries.
  • Consulting on data, technology assisted review and client scoping.
  • Provide recommendations and guidance when implementing new technologies.
  • Provide training sessions for individuals, teams and even department as a whole.
  • Provide assistance in the creation of template documents.

Requirements:
