Senior Project Manager, Client Services

Our client, who serve corporations and law firms around the world, are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager for their Frankfurt based Client Services division.

 Main Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary liaison with key client representatives with the goal of owning the service delivery relationship;
  • Drives overall client satisfaction through effective coordination and communication of client deliverables;
  • Works with clients to establish best practices which meet their needs and addresses any prioritization issues that may arise;
  • Effectively creates and executes project forecasts and work schedules in collaboration with the Director, Client Services;
  • Ensures client and project requirements are being met with the highest quality and accuracy through verification and communicating routinely with both the client and internal partners;
  • Consistently delivers proactive communication with clients and when client issues arises addresses those issues or expeditiously escalates to the Director, Client Services;
  • Ensures that an update to date record is maintained regarding the status of all projects being worked on;
  • Demonstrates leadership to both the client and internal partners, delivering project objectives professionally and with high quality;
  • Provides substantive oversight to client-specific projects on a day-to-day basis;
  • Serves as team leader by assessing and developing employees through continuous training and mentoring;
  • Assists Director, Client Services in evaluating team bandwidth and delegation of tasks internally;
  • Instills confidence with the client and serves as a primary public face of the companys high-quality service delivery offering;
  • Identifies areas for improvement in process on internal workflow and projects in a solution-oriented fashion.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Solid understanding of eDiscovery and the litigation support industry, which is typically a result of at least 5 years of experience in project management positions with law firms, corporate legal departments or eDiscovery service providers.
  • Must be proficient in Relativity and possess a Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification. Additional Relativity Certifications are a bonus.
  • A legal and technical background is expected. The ideal candidate will have both legal qualifications and technical training.
  • Demonstrated success in the management of multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Oral and written communication skills, which provide a strong and confident leadership presence.
  • Excellent client relationship skills, including the ability to proactively manage client expectations, recognize client needs and adapt company capabilities to consistently meet client requirements.
  • A solid understanding of database design and management, data processing activities and legal document review requirements.

  • A minimum of 5 years consulting, litigation support, paralegal or attorney experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or eDiscovery service provider.

The individual will be required to support eDiscovery services to clients, whilst additionally providing consulting and technical services to in house teams. Candidates must possess Relativity experience, however technical proficiency is other eDiscovery software is beneficial.

  • Manage various eDiscovery projects across the EDRM, more specifically collection to production.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated eDiscovery Specialist/Project Manager to join the London Office of a successful, global Law Firm.

The position reports to the Manager and Director of Global Practice Services (GPS) but will operate with significant autonomy.

As a trusted member of the GPS team, the successful candidate will build consensus across the firm as you support global litigation, regulatory, and investigations for the firm and its clients. In this role you will be responsible for eDiscovery support across the UK and EMEA.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working across all aspects of the EDRM with hands on experience processing data, running analytics, supporting document review and running productions in LAW, Relativity and Brainspace. The Specialist is a solutions-oriented professional that oversees the execution of eDiscovery projects and is ultimately responsible for the quality and timeliness of any deliverables or deadlines.

As a subject matter expert in eDiscovery, the Specialist consults with attorneys on appropriate solutions related to all phases of the litigation and EDRM lifecycle. The Specialist actively builds relationships with case teams, customizing their support-style and technical delivery to meet the attorney’s expectations and maintain GPS’s standards and industry best practices. In addition, they have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with case teams across the organization.

The eDiscovery Specialist is responsible for promoting and ensuring the effective use of leading litigation technology for Firm litigation matters as well as adhering to all GPS and Business Intelligence (“BI”) policies, procedures, best practices and guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, engaging with legal teams and providing technical support and assistance with the planning, design, development, application and implementation of technology and database systems such as Relativity, Relativity Processing, Brainspace, Livenote, Casemap, Timemap Sanction, LAW, external web-based document repositories, and external web-based case management tools.

Main Responsibilities

The candidate should be self-motivated, able to quickly learn new software and procedures, can exercise good judgment and show initiative in resolving problems and completing assignments. Ideal candidate must also assist with external legal-vendor management and oversight, as well as legal-vendor diversity efforts. A top tier eDiscovery vendor is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their London team. Responsibilities will include supporting systems using industry software such as Relativity, LAW PreDiscovery, and IPRO. The Support Engineer will work closely between both the IT and operations team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all databases support Relativity run optimally
  • Operate as escalation point for the support of database containing large volumes of data across multiple data centers
