Sales Director

Our client, one of the leading international providers of integrated technology and services within the legal industry, are looking for a Director of Sales who will work as an individual contributor of Global Business Transformation Solutions with focus within the Legal Sector.

 

The primary target market will be new business from Regional/National Firms in an assigned geographic area. This role will be utilizing various internal resources for assistance throughout the sales cycle, including assisting with RFP proposals and responses required during the sales cycle.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • The generation of assigned annual revenue targets through sales of the Global Business Transformation Solutions offerings within his/her assigned sales territory. Such services include, but are not limited to Document Production, Document Creation, Records & Information Management, Mail Services, Hospitality and Reception
  • The sales territory may consist of geographic territory, named accounts, or both.
  • Formulation and execution of sales plans specific to coverage of assigned territory and achievement of assigned annual revenue targets
  • Prospecting activities for identification of prospective new clients
  • Sales calls, customer meetings, presentations and demonstrations conducted in pursuit of new and repeat business from prospective and existing clients
  • Account Management of assigned and newly-generated clients
  • Maintenance of assigned accounts and achievement of assigned customer satisfaction ratings as measured by annual client satisfaction surveys
  • Adherence to Company policies, and timely submission of sales reports as assigned

 

Required Characteristics and Credentials:

  • 5 – 7 years’ experience in selling solutions in the legal marketplace.
  • History of managing large and medium sized clients with deal sizes in the range of £200+ annually.
  • Proven and demonstrable knowledge of the legal market, including key decision makers, legal back-office processes and industry trends.
  • Strong business acumen of the document management marketplace.
  • Proven ability to quickly gain entry to key Law Department Executives and articulate a proven value/ ROI-based sale.
  • Proven track record of managing a sizable geographic territory and building a robust pipeline of high potential accounts.
  • Must possess strong proposal writing skills and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Be detail oriented and exceptionally attentive to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com (CRM).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Information Systems, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Consistent quota over-achievement.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.

 

eDiscovery Sales Manager

eDiscovery Sales Manager:

Salary: £85,000+ base.

Description:

The eDiscovery Sales Manager will be responsible for selling eDiscovery services to FTSE 250 corporations and law firms. Additional responsibilities for this role will include prospecting new clients, discussing the company’s capabilities with existing clients, relating to new engagements or a new aspect of an existing engagement, and the early stages of a client project around scope definition. This position will be an individual contributor with sales targets across the U.K. and other various industry verticals. Ideal candidates must have legal & corporate wins / lots of new business experience.  You will have your own territory in Europe without a large sales team to compete with.

Responsibilities:

  • Target and prospect corporate decision makers and top law firms in the areas of Legal and Compliance.
  • Establish and develop key client relationships.
  • Participate in conference calls with clients and potential prospects.
  • Consult with clients and prospects regarding their data needs and solutions.
  • Ensure that the company is optimised in its usage of eDisclosure / eDiscovery tools.
  • Stay current on new tools, technologies and trends.
  • Stay current on prospective clients, current market conditions, and competitive information.
  • Responsible for the entire sale process; from prospecting to closing the deal.
  • Exceed annual sales revenue quotas and service objectives as detailed by management.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience within the eDiscovery / eDisclosure industry with an emphasis on selling services or products to large law firms, vendors and corporations.
  • Established relationships with many for the top 100 U.K. / European law firms and FTSE 250 in house legal departments.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets continuously.
  • Prior experience managing and training junior sales personnel is preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience operating within a similar sales focused role.
  • Must possess relevant product and industry knowledge.
  • Full understanding of the EDRM and litigation lifecycle.
  • Ability to travel.

Salary: £45,000

Responsibilities will include uncovering new customer leads, booking meetings for senior sales members and building relationships/uncovering new relevant contacts.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify key issues and qualify target buyers.
  • Lead generation regarding on-going sales processes.
  • Developing call scripts / email / lead generation content.
